QLM Life and Medical Insurance Company said its net profit fell 12.07% to QR41.36 million in the first nine months of 2026, from QR47.04 million a year earlier.
Insurance revenue for the period rose to QR1.27 billion from QR1.03 billion, the Qatari health and life insurer said in a statement published by Al Raya. Earnings per share were QR0.12, compared with QR0.13.

Insurance service expenses rose at a similar pace to about QR1.25 billion, limiting the impact of revenue growth on profit, CNBC Arabia reported.

Net investment and other income was QR35.1 million, compared with QR45.7 million a year earlier, the company said. Investments swung from a net gain of QR5.2 million to a loss of about QR3.33 million, CNBC Arabia reported.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, QLM’s chairman, said a focus on risk management and careful investment allocation had helped the company maintain strong solvency.
Fahad Mohammed Al Suwaidi, QLM’s chief executive, said the company had continued to develop digital services and use artificial intelligence to speed up approvals and claims follow-up.
