Widam Food Company, the Qatari meat and livestock supplier, said its net loss narrowed 38.71% to QR71.84 million in the first nine months of 2026, from QR117.23 million in the same period of 2025.
Loss per share for the nine months ended Sept. 30 was QR0.40, compared with QR0.65 a year earlier, according to a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website and reported by Al Sharq.

The results were also reported by Marsal Qatar, citing the company’s disclosure.
The results come days before a restructuring of Widam’s capital takes effect. Under a two-stage plan announced on the exchange last week, the company will cut its capital to QR50 million from QR180 million by canceling 130 million shares, or 72.2% of its current capital, to absorb part of its accumulated losses.
Widam will then raise its capital to QR80 million by converting QR30 million of bonds, issued against a loan from existing shareholder Hassad Food, into new shares, according to the exchange announcement.
The restructuring is due to be carried out at the close of trading on Thursday, Oct. 29, with the shares trading on the new capital base from Sunday, Nov. 1, the exchange said.
