2PointZero Group Nine-Month Net Profit Rises 33% to AED9.5 Billion on Pro Forma Basis, Helped by AED5.8 Billion Fair Value Gain

2PointZero Group’s net profit rose 33% on a pro forma basis to AED9.5 billion in the first nine months of 2026, the Abu Dhabi-listed investment company said in a statement to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange on Friday.

Revenue for the period ended September 30 was AED33.7 billion, up 106% on a pro forma basis. The comparison reflects the consolidation of Spanish fashion retailer Tendam and the merger that created the group.

Net profit included a AED5.8 billion gain from fair value revaluations of investments.

Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization, which exclude fair value changes and one-off items, were AED7.5 billion.

Profit attributable to owners

Net profit attributable to owners of the company was AED8.59 billion ($2.3 billion), against AED2.64 billion a year earlier, The National reported.

Third-quarter profit fell about 25% to AED1.5 billion because of higher costs and expenses, while quarterly revenue rose to AED11.8 billion, the newspaper said.

The group had AED15.7 billion in cash and bank balances and total assets of AED155 billion at the end of September. Its net debt-to-equity ratio was 0.21 times.

“We are building on a strong foundation,” said Samia Bouazza, the group’s chief executive officer. She said the balance sheet left the company well placed to invest through the cycle.

Energy deals in the quarter

In July, subsidiary ePointZero completed the $2.25 billion all-cash purchase of Traverse Midstream Partners. The deal gave it minority stakes in the Rover Pipeline and the Ohio River System in the United States, the group’s first US natural gas investment.

In the third quarter, ePointZero also agreed to buy 90% of Azura Power Holding, an African independent power producer with more than 750 megawatts of operating capacity in Nigeria, Senegal and Mozambique.

In June, the group completed the sale of its 7.29% stake in Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) to Abu Dhabi Power.

2PointZero Group was formed by the merger of Multiply Group, Ghitha Holding and 2PointZero. Its businesses span energy, mining, consumer, food and mobility.
