Singapore Airlines has extended the cancellation of its flights between Singapore and Dubai until February 28, 2027, citing the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
The carrier had previously cancelled the flights until December 1, CNA reported on Friday. The airline announced the extension in a post on Facebook.

The affected services are flight SQ494 from Singapore to Dubai and flight SQ495 from Dubai to Singapore. Singapore Airlines previously operated the route daily.
“As the situation remains fluid, other SIA flights may be affected,” the airline said.
Refunds for affected passengers
Customers whose flights are cancelled can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket, the airline said.
Passengers who booked directly with Singapore Airlines can request a refund through its online assistance form. Those who booked through travel agents or partner airlines should contact them directly.
The extension comes as concern grows over a possible escalation in the region. Israel has threatened to strike Iran, and US President Donald Trump has signaled openness to resuming strikes, according to CNA.
