Aramex profit returned during the second quarter as the Dubai-based logistics company delivered its strongest quarterly revenue on record. Aramex profit highlighted the company’s improving financial performance despite challenging regional conditions. The latest results reflected stronger demand and continued operational expansion across several markets.
The company reported revenue of AED1.8 billion for the three months ending June 30. This result represented a 22 percent increase compared with the same period last year. Company officials described the figure as the highest quarterly revenue in Aramex’s history.
Business expansion played an important role in the strong performance. The company introduced new shipping services between Europe and the Middle East. At the same time, Aramex expanded its air and sea charter capacity. These improvements supported higher shipment volumes and increased customer demand.
The logistics company also returned to profitability after reporting a loss during the same quarter last year. Net profit reached AED47.3 million during the second quarter. In comparison, the company posted a net loss of AED9 million one year earlier.
The first half of 2026 also showed positive financial momentum. Revenue increased by 12 percent compared with the previous year. Strong business activity during May and June contributed significantly to that growth. Those two months produced record revenue for the company.
Meanwhile, first-half net profit increased sharply. Earnings grew nearly eight times compared with the same period last year. Company executives credited ongoing operational improvements for the stronger financial results.
The Accelerate28 transformation program continued supporting business performance throughout the year. Management introduced the initiative in early 2025 to improve efficiency across global operations. Since then, the company has focused on streamlining processes and strengthening service quality.
Chief Executive Officer Amadou Diallo said the company responded quickly to changing market conditions. He explained that Aramex maintained uninterrupted logistics services despite regional challenges. Furthermore, he noted that the company’s diversified transportation network supported reliable operations.
The company relied on multiple transport options to reduce disruption risks. This strategy helped maintain deliveries across different regions. As a result, customers continued receiving logistics services without major interruptions.
Aramex also maintained a healthy financial position during the reporting period. Cash reserves reached AED503 million by the end of the second quarter. The strong cash balance provides additional flexibility for future investments and business expansion.
The company’s ownership structure remains supported by major institutional investors. Q Logistics Holding owns the largest stake in Aramex. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Ports Company also holds a significant ownership interest.
Although financial performance improved, the company’s share price remained under pressure this year. The stock closed at AED1.71 on Wednesday. Despite stronger earnings, the share price has declined by nearly one quarter since the beginning of 2026.
Industry analysts continue monitoring the logistics sector closely as international trade patterns evolve. Companies with flexible transport networks may benefit from growing shipping demand and expanding regional trade routes. Continued investment in logistics infrastructure could also support future growth opportunities.
Aramex profit reflects the company’s ability to strengthen operations while navigating challenging market conditions. Investors will now watch upcoming financial results for signs of continued revenue growth and sustained profitability. Aramex profit remains a key indicator of the company’s ongoing recovery and operational progress.
