stc Bahrain has signed a $140 million financing facility with BNP Paribas, the telecom operator said on Sunday.
The agreement was signed at the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2026 in Manama, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, according to a statement.

The company said the funding will support its expansion plans, strengthen its digital infrastructure and back continued investment in its networks.
The statement did not disclose the tenor, pricing or structure of the facility.
Khalid Al Osaimi, Chief Executive Officer of stc Bahrain, said the partnership would support strategic projects to strengthen Bahrain’s digital infrastructure and its position as a regional hub for technology and investment.
Benoit Pivot, Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Bahrain, said the transaction strengthens the bank’s global relationship with stc group, the Saudi telecom company that owns stc Bahrain.
The two-day forum opened on Sunday. Bahrain’s finance minister said more than 110 announcements worth over $20 billion would be made during the event.
