Air India Express has launched flights between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport and Amritsar and resumed direct service to Goa, Abu Dhabi Airports said on Tuesday.
Both routes began operating on October 25 with three flights a week each, the airport operator said in a statement.

The additions bring the airline’s network from Abu Dhabi to 17 Indian cities, with around 160 weekly flights between the emirate and India.
Since 2025, Air India Express has also launched services from Abu Dhabi to Guwahati, Indore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Navi Mumbai and Pune.
“India remains one of the most important markets for Abu Dhabi,” said Carsten Norland, chief commercial officer of Abu Dhabi Airports.
Nipun Aggarwal, chairman of Air India Express and chief commercial officer of Air India, said the new services “further strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position within our growing international network.”
Abu Dhabi Airports operates five commercial airports in the emirate and handled more than 33 million passengers in 2025, according to the company.
