Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company (MPHC) reported a net loss of QR427.85 million for the first nine months of 2026, compared with a net profit of about QR519.68 million in the same period of 2025, according to data published by the Qatar Stock Exchange on Monday, the state news agency QNA reported.
The company posted a loss per share of QR0.034 for the period, against earnings per share of QR0.041 a year earlier, QNA said.

For the third quarter alone, MPHC recorded a net loss of QR244.8 million, compared with a profit of QR141 million in the year-earlier quarter, as its share of joint venture results swung to a loss of QR262.9 million, CNBC Arabia reported. The company had reported a net loss of QR183 million for the first half of 2026.
Nine-month revenue fell 65% to QR725 million, as sales volumes dropped 65% to 307,000 tonnes, while the average selling price slipped about 1% to $649 a tonne, CNBC Arabia said.
The company attributed the results to logistics disruptions and lower production and sales in its petrochemicals and chlor-alkali segments, while it continued to carry fixed operating costs.
Total assets stood at QR15.9 billion at the end of September, down 4% from the end of 2025, while equity fell to QR15.6 billion and cash and bank balances to QR3.1 billion. Cash flow from operating activities was negative QR96 million, compared with an inflow of about QR495 million a year earlier.
MPHC, which is listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, holds stakes in Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem), Qatar Chemical Company II (Q-Chem II) and Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC), which operate petrochemical and chlor-alkali plants in Mesaieed Industrial City.
