Aldar has announced a new residential project in Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi. The development, called Baccarat Residences Saadiyat, will offer 77 luxury homes. The key selling point is the location, with views of the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the future Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Dubai-based buyers and international investors have shown strong interest already. Aldar’s development CEO said demand appears high, even though prices remain under review. He also noted that the homes will target a premium segment, and will not be priced for every buyer.
The residences will include two and three bedroom apartments. The project will also feature four bedroom sky villas. In addition, two signature penthouses will sit at the top of the buildings. These units will spread across two architecturally distinct towers.
The property sits in Saadiyat Cultural District, one of Abu Dhabi’s most prestigious areas. The district already hosts Louvre Abu Dhabi, Berklee Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum. The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will open soon. As a result, residents will live at the heart of the emirate’s cultural expansion.
Moreover, the development faces the Arabian Sea, giving residents easy access to the beach. They can also reach Saadiyat Grove Mall, which is set to open later this year. Aldar’s CEO added that the district will blend institutional arts with community-based cultural activities.
The announcement comes shortly after Aldar reported record financial results for 2025. The company posted a net profit of Dh8.8 billion, up 25 percent from the previous year. Aldar now holds properties across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and is expanding into London and Egypt.
The new project marks the first UAE commission for Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. He designed the buildings to reflect the natural curves of Saadiyat Island’s shoreline. The two towers feature undulating forms that mirror the landscape. This design creates a seamless transition between the buildings and the horizon.
In summary, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat will add a striking new landmark to Abu Dhabi’s skyline. It will also offer a premium living experience near the city’s most important cultural institutions.
