Dubai Gold Prices Jump Dh21.75 in One Day, Cross Dh500 Mark for the First Time in Weeks

Dubai gold prices climbed sharply on Thursday, drawing strong attention from buyers and investors. Dubai gold prices crossed the Dh500 level for the first time in several weeks. The latest increase reflects stronger global demand and changing market expectations.

The price of 24K gold reached Dh514 per gram on Thursday morning. That marked a daily increase of Dh21.75. The same gold traded at Dh492.25 per gram when markets opened on Wednesday.

Other gold categories also recorded solid gains during the trading session. The price of 22K gold rose to Dh475.75 per gram. Meanwhile, 21K gold traded at Dh456 per gram. In addition, 18K gold reached Dh391 per gram. The 14K variety climbed to Dh305 per gram.

International gold prices also moved higher during early trading. Spot gold traded at $4,260.43 per ounce. That represented a gain of 0.37 percent. At the same time, silver traded at $62.08 per ounce after a modest increase of 0.1 percent.

Market analysts linked the latest rally to improving geopolitical developments. Reports suggested that negotiations involving the United States, Iran, and Oman could support safer shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. As a result, investor confidence improved across global financial markets.

Experts explained that easing geopolitical risks reduced concerns about future inflation. Therefore, many investors lowered their expectations for additional interest rate increases in the United States. Lower borrowing costs often strengthen demand for gold because the metal does not generate interest income.

According to market analysts, investors now expect only one additional Federal Reserve rate increase before the end of the year. Just one week earlier, markets had anticipated two more increases. This shift encouraged more buying activity in precious metals.

Analysts also pointed to strong investment demand from China. Gold-backed exchange-traded funds in the country continued attracting fresh money. Recent inflows extended for 14 consecutive days. That marked the longest streak since March.

The continued investment activity from China provided additional support for bullion prices. Strong institutional demand also helped keep international gold prices above the important $4,000 per ounce level. This trend reinforced positive market sentiment despite ongoing economic uncertainty.

Jewellery buyers in Dubai may now face higher purchase costs after the sharp daily increase. However, some investors could view the rally as an opportunity to secure profits after recent gains. Others may prefer holding their gold if they expect prices to remain elevated.

Market participants will continue monitoring economic data and central bank signals in the coming weeks. They will also watch geopolitical developments closely because they could influence precious metal prices. Any changes in interest rate expectations or global trade conditions may affect future price movements.

For now, Dubai gold prices remain in focus as the market records one of its strongest daily gains in recent weeks. Buyers, investors, and traders will likely follow upcoming developments before making their next decisions. Dubai gold prices continue attracting attention as global economic and political factors shape market direction.
