Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) raised AED65.721 million from its 121st open auction of distinctive vehicle number plates, held on Saturday, October 24, at Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City.
Plate CC44 fetched the highest price at AED6.72 million, according to results published by Al Bayan on Monday. BB18 followed at AED6.62 million, then BB80 at AED5.9 million.

BB117 sold for AED1.016 million. The three BB plates together brought in AED13.536 million.
The authority offered 60 plates with two, three, four and five digits across the codes AA, BB, CC, H, U, V, W, X, Y and Z.
The RTA said the results showed the success of its approach to open and online auctions, which it said rests on neutrality, transparency and equal opportunity for bidders.
The total was below the previous open auction. The 120th sale, held on December 27, 2025, at the same hotel, raised AED109 million, the highest total the RTA has recorded, according to Gulf News. That auction offered 90 plates and was led by BB12 at AED9.66 million.
