Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis said on Thursday they had attacked Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura oil refinery, the largest in the kingdom, the Rabigh refinery and an Aramco facility in Abqaiq, Reuters reported.
The group said it also targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

There was no immediate confirmation of the claims from Saudi authorities.
The Houthi military said it carried out six operations in total. The sixth targeted a Saudi forces headquarters in the Najran region, according to the group’s statement.
Coalition reports interceptions
The Saudi-led coalition said on Thursday evening that air defenses intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward Riyadh. Coalition spokesman Turki Al-Malki made the announcement in a post on X.
Earlier on Thursday, the coalition said it had intercepted a ballistic missile fired toward the kingdom’s Eastern Province, which hosts most of its oil production and processing facilities.
Saudi authorities issued phone alerts of a hostile aerial threat in Riyadh, Al-Kharj and Najran on Thursday, and later said the danger had passed.
Oil market
Brent crude futures settled down 44 cents, or 0.38%, at $114.88 a barrel on Thursday. US West Texas Intermediate futures settled down 78 cents, or 0.76%, at $102.
Both benchmarks had fallen by more than $2 a barrel earlier in the session on hopes for US-Iran peace talks. Reports of new attacks on Aramco helped prices recover some losses, said John Kilduff, a partner at Again Capital.
On Wednesday, the Houthis said they had hit Saudi Arabia’s biggest oil refinery with a missile.
Earlier this month, a Houthi missile caused a limited fire at an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran, according to the Saudi energy ministry, which said there were no injuries.
