Kuwait’s Public Authority for Youth and Sports signed a contractual memorandum with Boeing on Thursday to establish the Kuwait Technology Entrepreneurship Hub, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The hub will offer training for young Kuwaitis working in entrepreneurship, technology and technical fields.

Bashar Abdullah, acting director general of the authority, signed the memorandum. Musaed Al-Houli, chief executive of Boeing Kuwait, signed for the US aerospace company.
Links to accelerators
The project aims to transfer knowledge, technology and expertise from Boeing, its partners and other international companies to young entrepreneurs through specialized programs, Abdullah told KUNA.
It also seeks to connect entrepreneurs and startups with global accelerators, including Boeing’s own accelerator programs, he said.
Abdullah described the hub as “a qualitative leap” in training young people involved in entrepreneurship.
The announcement did not give a value for the agreement.
