The agency report did not give a reason for the decline.

Mekdam, a Doha-based engineering, technology and services group, has won new work in recent weeks.

On October 4, it said it had received an award from Qatar’s Public Works Authority, Ashghal, for a contract worth up to QR262.5 million for specialized services.

On October 22, it signed a partnership with Armada at the Milipol Qatar exhibition to work on edge computing, connectivity and artificial intelligence services for government and enterprise customers in Qatar.

In April, Group Chief Executive Officer Ehab Naser said 2026 and 2027 would mark the group’s transition toward maximizing returns from its expansion.
