Ooredoo’s net profit fell 4.9% to QR2.93 billion in the first nine months of 2026, from QR3.08 billion a year earlier, the Qatar-listed telecommunications group said on Wednesday.
Earnings per share for the nine months ended September 30 were QR0.92, down from QR0.96 in the same period of 2025, according to data the company published on the Qatar Stock Exchange and reported by the Qatar News Agency.

The results follow those of Ooredoo Kuwait, part of the group, which reported on October 24 that its nine-month net profit fell 29% to KD48 million because of a provision related to its operations in Algeria. Ooredoo Kuwait’s revenue rose 6% to KD608 million in the period.
Earlier this month, Ooredoo and Kuwait’s Zain completed the first closing of a joint platform that combines about 4,000 telecommunications towers in Qatar and Kuwait.
