Industries Qatar posted a net loss of QR809.22 million for the first nine months of 2026, compared with a net profit of QR3.37 billion in the same period of 2025.

Revenue fell 41% to QR8.1 billion, CNBC Arabia reported. Sales volumes dropped 53% to 3.81 million tonnes.

The company attributed the result to the lower sales volumes and to a decline in other income as investment returns fell, according to CNBC Arabia. Nonrecurring accounting adjustments linked to a change in control of Qatar Fuel Additives Company (QAFAC) also weighed on earnings.

Industries Qatar recorded a third-quarter net loss of about QR1 billion, compared with a net profit of QR1.42 billion a year earlier, the broadcaster reported.

The group has faced disruption to shipping and supply chains in the region. In March, it announced it was stopping and reducing the output of certain products across its group companies.

Industries Qatar had reported a net profit of QR734 million for the first quarter of 2026.
