Muscat, Oman: Oman has advanced a major energy project after awarding a $350 million contract. The Duqm power plant contract marks a new step for the country’s energy sector. Furthermore, the project will support rising electricity demand across southern Oman.
The facility will produce 870 megawatts of electricity after completion. Meanwhile, a consortium led by Doosan Enerbility will build the plant. The group secured the agreement after presenting its development plans.
