Eskan Bank Partners with Al A’ali Engineering to Deliver 72 New Housing Units in Bahrain

Eskan Bank has taken another step to support Bahrain’s housing sector by signing a new consultancy agreement for two residential developments. The partnership will help advance new housing projects while supporting the country’s long-term urban development strategy. Furthermore, the initiative aims to increase the availability of quality homes for Bahraini families.

The agreement brings Eskan Bank together with Al A’ali Engineering Consultants to provide engineering consultancy services for 72 residential units. The developments include 40 homes in Askar and another 32 homes in Hamad Town. Officials expect the consultancy work to improve planning, design quality, and project execution.

The housing developments form part of wider national efforts to increase the supply of residential properties across Bahrain. Authorities continue accelerating housing projects to meet growing demand from eligible citizens. Consequently, the latest agreement supports ongoing plans to expand housing opportunities throughout the Kingdom.

The consultancy contract carries a value of BHD48,000. Under the agreement, the engineering firm will prepare design consultancy services for both residential projects. These services will help ensure the developments meet modern engineering standards while maintaining high construction quality.

Officials described the agreement as another milestone in strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors. They believe closer collaboration will improve project delivery while increasing efficiency during every stage of development. In addition, the partnership reflects continued investment in sustainable residential communities.

Eskan Bank stated that the agreement supports broader housing objectives through cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. The projects also contribute to ongoing efforts aimed at accelerating the delivery of thousands of new homes across Bahrain. Officials continue prioritizing housing availability to meet future demand.

The new residential developments will also expand options for citizens participating in government-supported housing finance programs. These programs provide financial support for eligible families seeking home ownership. Therefore, the additional housing units will increase opportunities for more Bahrainis to access suitable homes.

Bank representatives emphasized the importance of involving experienced engineering consultants during the early planning stages. Strong technical planning can reduce delays while improving construction quality throughout the project lifecycle. This approach also helps developers manage costs and maintain consistent project standards.

The Hamad Town development will occupy a site measuring approximately 11,702 square meters. Meanwhile, the Askar project will cover nearly 11,630 square meters. Both sites will provide modern housing designed for the needs of Bahraini families.

Each residential unit will offer approximately 225 square meters of built-up space. The homes will include four bedrooms, spacious living and dining areas, and fully equipped kitchens. In addition, every property will feature a maid’s room, laundry facilities, and parking spaces for two vehicles.

Project officials said these designs aim to provide practical and comfortable living environments. The layout combines modern functionality with family-focused planning. As a result, residents will benefit from larger living spaces and improved residential amenities.

Executives also highlighted the importance of integrating engineering expertise throughout every development stage. Early technical involvement helps improve construction efficiency while supporting long-term sustainability. Consequently, the projects should achieve higher quality standards and faster completion times.

Representatives from Al A’ali Engineering Consultants welcomed the opportunity to participate in both housing developments. Company officials pledged to deliver practical engineering solutions that support successful project implementation. They also expressed confidence that the developments will contribute to Bahrain’s expanding residential sector.

The consultancy firm plans to focus on sustainable engineering practices while maintaining high-quality design standards. These efforts should strengthen construction efficiency and improve the long-term value of the completed communities. Additionally, the company aims to support residential environments that meet modern family expectations.

Eskan Bank continues expanding its role in Bahrain’s housing sector through strategic partnerships and long-term investment in residential development. Officials believe collaboration between financial institutions, engineering specialists, and government agencies will strengthen future housing delivery. Looking ahead, the latest agreement marks another important step toward creating sustainable communities while increasing quality housing options for Bahraini citizens. Eskan Bank remains committed to supporting the Kingdom’s evolving housing strategy through efficient planning, modern design, and continued partnership with the private sector.
