Kooheji Holding Launches Aspire Programme to Create Career Opportunities for Bahraini Students

Kooheji Holding Group has launched a new edition of its Aspire programme, strengthening its commitment to developing Bahraini talent through practical training and career development. The Aspire programme offers university students valuable workplace experience while preparing them for future employment across several industries.

The latest programme officially began with an orientation session on July 5, 2026. It will continue until August 31, giving participants nearly two months of practical learning within the group’s businesses. Throughout the programme, students will work alongside experienced professionals while taking part in real projects.

This year’s programme attracted exceptional interest from university students across Bahrain. All available training positions filled in less than 24 hours after registration opened. Following a competitive selection process, the company chose 25 students based on their qualifications, potential, and overall performance during evaluations.

One of the programme’s biggest additions this year involves future employment opportunities. Outstanding participants may receive the chance to join Kooheji Holding Group after completing their university studies. As a result, the initiative now extends beyond summer training by offering a possible pathway into long-term careers.

Company leaders described the programme as an investment in Bahrain’s future workforce. They believe practical learning plays an important role in preparing graduates for today’s competitive labour market. Hands-on experience also helps students strengthen technical abilities while building professional confidence.

Participants will gain practical exposure across many industries operated by the group. These sectors include construction, real estate development, architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and interior design. Students will also learn about project management, facilities management, hospitality, and customer service.

Furthermore, the programme introduces trainees to marketing, digital marketing, human resources, information technology, digital transformation, logistics, and supply chain management. This wide range of disciplines allows participants to explore different career paths before entering full-time employment.

Exposure to multiple industries gives students a broader understanding of modern business operations. Consequently, participants can develop practical skills while discovering careers that match their interests and academic backgrounds. The programme also encourages teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and professional responsibility.

Training takes place inside the group’s companies under the supervision of experienced managers and industry specialists. Students work on actual business projects instead of classroom exercises. Therefore, they gain practical knowledge that complements their university education.

Group Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Al Kooheji said the company considers the initiative a long-term investment in Bahrain’s human capital. He explained that talented young Bahrainis possess the ambition and ability needed to support the country’s economic development.

He added that the programme stands apart because it combines practical experience across numerous sectors within one integrated training framework. This approach allows participants to build diverse skills while preparing for different professional opportunities after graduation.

The company also believes supporting national talent represents an important corporate responsibility. Developing skilled professionals can strengthen Bahrain’s private sector while contributing to sustainable economic growth. In addition, closer cooperation between education and industry helps graduates transition more smoothly into employment.

According to company officials, offering employment opportunities to top-performing trainees reflects the group’s long-term vision. Instead of ending with a summer placement, the programme can become the beginning of a rewarding professional career. This approach encourages students to perform at their highest level throughout the training period.

The Aspire programme also supports Bahrain’s broader goals of strengthening workforce competitiveness and preparing future business leaders. Continued investment in education and skills development remains an important part of building a sustainable economy.

Kooheji Holding Group plans to continue expanding the programme in future years. Company leaders aim to enhance the training experience while creating additional opportunities for talented Bahraini students. Through initiatives like this, the group hopes to help develop a highly skilled national workforce ready to contribute across multiple sectors.
