Dubai Gold Price Climbs to Dh541 per Gram as Global Gold Market Recovers After Sharp Sell-Off

The Dubai gold price climbed again on Thursday as global bullion markets showed signs of recovery. The rise followed a sharp decline earlier this week.

The 24K gold rate reached Dh541 per gram during Thursday morning trading. That figure represented a Dh1 increase from Wednesday’s closing level.

The price also stood Dh15 above Tuesday’s market close. Moreover, gold gained Dh17.5 over the previous week.

Other gold categories also recorded gains during the morning session. The 22K rate reached Dh501 per gram.

Meanwhile, 21K gold traded at Dh480.50 per gram. The 18K rate climbed to Dh411.75 per gram.

The 14K category also moved higher and reached Dh321.25 per gram. Therefore, gains extended across several popular gold categories in Dubai.

International markets also showed modest improvement during Thursday trading. Spot gold rose 0.09 percent to about $4,491.47 per ounce.

Silver performed more strongly during the same session. The precious metal gained 2.16 percent and traded near $67.14 per ounce.

Both metals attempted to recover following Tuesday’s heavy selling pressure. Consequently, improving market conditions helped support precious metals during the latest session.

Several economic factors contributed to the renewed interest in bullion. US Treasury yields moved lower after reaching elevated levels.

At the same time, the US dollar remained close to multi-month lows. These developments generally provide support for gold and other precious metals.

The UAE dirham maintains a fixed exchange rate against the US dollar. Therefore, movements in US financial conditions can influence the UAE market.

Lower Treasury yields can also increase the appeal of assets such as gold. Investors often monitor interest rate expectations when assessing bullion prices.

Recent US economic data has also affected expectations around future Federal Reserve decisions. Softer economic signals have reduced expectations for additional monetary tightening.

As a result, traders now await further guidance from upcoming US monetary policy discussions. Markets are also watching comments from central bank officials for fresh direction.

However, several risks could continue creating volatility across precious metals. Higher oil prices remain an important factor for global markets.

Fiscal concerns could also influence investor sentiment during the coming sessions. Therefore, gold prices may continue experiencing sharp movements despite their broader upward trend.

Technical levels remain important for traders monitoring the bullion market. Gold recently maintained support around the $4,323 level.

The metal has since attempted to regain momentum above $4,360. Furthermore, analysts are watching the $4,435 area as an important resistance level.

A sustained move above that level could strengthen the current bullish structure. It could also create room for gold to approach the $4,450 to $4,500 range.

However, gold could face renewed selling pressure if it falls below key support. The $4,323 level remains an important threshold for the market.

A deeper decline could bring the next support level near $4,227 into focus. Nevertheless, continued trading above $4,323 could preserve the broader positive trend.

The latest movement also highlights the sensitivity of gold to global financial conditions. Changes in yields, currencies and interest rate expectations can quickly affect prices.

For Dubai buyers, the latest increase keeps local gold prices near elevated levels. Therefore, shoppers may continue watching daily movements before making major purchases.

The Dubai gold price remains influenced by international bullion trends and currency conditions. Meanwhile, investors continue assessing whether the recent recovery can develop into stronger momentum.

Overall, the Dubai gold price has regained ground after this week’s sharp market decline. Further movements will likely depend on economic data and expectations for US monetary policy.
