Khaleeji Bank Signs Five MoUs to Expand Housing Finance and Homeownership Options

Khaleeji Bank has expanded its housing finance strategy through five new partnerships with Bahrain’s real estate companies. The Islamic bank signed memoranda of understanding with five developers during a major social housing event. The agreements seek to give customers more choices when purchasing homes within participating projects. Moreover, they connect property opportunities with Shari’a-compliant financing solutions from Khaleeji Bank.

The new agreements involve Delmon Gateway, Kingdom Projects, Diyar Al Muharraq, Kayan, and Naseej. Therefore, customers can explore several residential projects while considering suitable financing arrangements. The partnerships also strengthen cooperation between the bank and Bahrain’s growing real estate sector. As a result, buyers can access a more connected process from property selection through financing.

Khaleeji Bank will provide eligible customers with several financing benefits under approved terms and conditions. These benefits include financing of up to 120 percent for qualifying property purchases. Customers can also receive grace periods lasting as long as 12 months. Additionally, annual percentage rates can start from four percent under applicable offers.

The bank will also provide other benefits linked to selected financing arrangements and participating projects. These benefits include subsidies for electricity and water bills, alongside additional customer incentives. Consequently, buyers can consider broader financial support when planning their home purchases. The offers may also help different customer groups manage property costs more effectively.

Meanwhile, Khaleeji Bank joined the second Innovation in Social Housing Conference and Exhibition as a Platinum Sponsor. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank organized the event. The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council also supported the conference. Furthermore, the event took place at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.

The conference provides a platform for discussions around housing innovation and improved access to residential opportunities. Against this backdrop, Khaleeji Bank used the event to strengthen relationships with property developers. The five agreements demonstrate the bank’s focus on practical cooperation across Bahrain’s housing market. They also support efforts to broaden access to suitable residential financing options.

Housing finance remains important as Bahrain continues developing solutions that support wider homeownership. Accordingly, stronger cooperation between banks and developers can create more convenient purchasing pathways. Such partnerships can also help customers compare properties alongside financing options in one process. Therefore, the latest agreements could improve the overall experience for prospective homeowners.

Khaleeji Bank aims to expand its customer offerings through flexible and competitive financial products. The bank also continues developing Shari’a-compliant services for individuals and businesses across Bahrain. Meanwhile, its partnerships support wider national initiatives linked to housing and community development. Through these efforts, the bank seeks to combine financial services with practical customer needs.

The latest agreements also highlight the growing role of partnerships within Bahrain’s property market. Developers can gain access to financing support while customers receive broader purchasing options. At the same time, Khaleeji Bank can strengthen its presence across major residential developments. This approach creates opportunities for closer cooperation between financial institutions and real estate companies.

Housing finance partnerships can also help customers move more smoothly from planning to property ownership. However, applicants must still meet the bank’s eligibility requirements and approved financing conditions. Customers should therefore review individual offers before making final purchasing decisions. Overall, the new agreements reinforce Khaleeji Bank’s commitment to expanding homeownership opportunities across Bahrain.
