Iraq Oil Minister Visits Dora Complex

Iraq’s Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani, visited the Dora Oil Complex in Baghdad to review operations and encourage stronger performance. He arrived at the facility where he met with Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of Midland Refineries Company, and Ali Abdul-Karim Al-Moussawi, Director General of Oil Pipelines Company.

During his visit, the Oil Minister of Iraq inspected operations across several key companies. These include Midland Refineries Company, Oil Products Distribution Company, Oil Pipelines Company, and Heavy Engineering Equipment Company. He urged the teams to improve performance, preserve resources, and continue developing projects that strengthen the national economy. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of collaboration among these companies to achieve long-term goals.

The Minister of Oil highlighted the need to modernize operations in order to support the growing demand for refined products. He also stressed that Iraq’s resources must be preserved while ensuring efficiency across all sectors of the oil industry. Furthermore, he encouraged workers and managers to focus on sustainable achievements that will drive economic stability.

In addition, the minister praised the safety and emergency teams of the oil companies. He noted their effective cooperation with civil defense units to extinguish a recent fire in the Dora area. He explained that this swift action demonstrated the professionalism and readiness of the companies involved. Therefore, he called for continued vigilance and coordination to protect workers, facilities, and nearby communities.
